The printers in the following diagrams represent Lexmark printers with Lexmark internal print servers mabual in or installed in them so that they can communicate over a network. Lexmark internal print servers are devices made by Lexmark to enable Lexmark printers to be connected to wired or wireless networks.
Printing a network setup page A network setup page lists your network configuration settings. You can print a network setup page only when an internal wireless print server is installed in the printer.
To print a network setup page: From the control panel of the printer, press repeatedly until Setup is highlighted. Types of wireless networks Networks can operate in one of two modes: Lexmark recommends setting up a network in infrastructure mode using the installation CD that came with the printer.
A wireless network where each device communicates with others through a wireless access point wireless router is set up in infrastructure mode.
