By applying a good set of patterns, it is possible to bring a degree of elegance in to your systems that might otherwise have been lacking. I was underwhelmed by the GoF book but when I picked this up way back in the early s I found myself going back to it again over the years.
I believe they have updated it since the original edition. If you don’t already have it just buy it.
