Burkert A with Burkedt Plug. I guess everything we do here is unnecessary and sometimes overkill, but these are our toys, so here I go I looked it up on the Burkert site, and noticed that the type B cable plug has an option with LED, rectifier, varistor and a power supply. Should I just get a computer cord or should Burket get the power supply? I want laser sites and a scope on my metering valve, too. Last edited by Joshism; at That is a 24V DC solenoid, if you hook a computer cable up to it you’re going to pump V AC into that bad boy and fry it.
Burkert sells a V AC version you can hook a computer cable too, but that burkerh what you have.
You’ll need a 24V DC power supply to wire into it. Originally Posted by jkrohn View Post.

Any 24V mA or better ps will work. A man with two watches is never sure. I’m sure it’ll help the OP significantly. Yeah, I saw that link before.

Very informative and helpful, but jkrohn’s clarification really saved my solenoid from undesirable consequences. I am sure this information burert be very useful for all future algae growers. I hope I bought the right one.
The Burkert solenoid along with the cable plug, can be arranged in a few ways. I also have an exploded diagram of it. Someone might find this helpful. Hey Josh, I’ve been searching for a Type plug for a solenoid I have. Do you have any extra that I can buy or know where I can find one?

If it looks like the plug in the pictures above, then i think it should fit. Pictures of the solenoid can be seen in this thread that i posted: Originally Posted by flowerfishs View Post. Tyrone and Tyrone like this. Thanks for the clarification flowerfishs.
I was comparing it to the model solenoid you used on the mini dual-stage that I got from you but, it’s a totally different type of plug.
I didn’t know that. Now I have to go buy all of the Burkert solenoids on the internet. Quote message in reply?
